Day 1: Arrival – Ha Noi
Upon arrival Noi Bai international airport, Cool Travel's guide will welcome you and then be transferred to your hotel in the city center. It is time for you to relax after long journey and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi (B/L)
This day, you will visit Ha Long bay, the World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty. The travel start at 8 am, after 3 hour and a half, you will arrive at Ha Long bay. Embark in the Traditional style wooden at 12hrs; you will be served with fresh seafood lunch. With 4-hour boat trip, you are cruising around islets, caves and grottos. You then will visit Sung Sot ('The Cave of Surprise') grotto. Drive back to Hanoi and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Ha Noi - Hue (B/L)
In the morning, you will visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, His House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda and having lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, discover the Van Mieu (our first national university), Ngoc Son temple or cycling around the Old quarter sightseeing. Leave our Capital to the Imperial city – Hue in the evening flight and overnight in Hue.
Day 4: Hue - Sightseeing Tour (B/L)
Today, you will visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue, King Tu Duc’s tomb (Tu Duc is a king but also a poet, so his mausoleum is a poet garden), King Minh Mang tomb (typical formal oriental style designed), and Thien Mu pagoda. In the late afternoon, take a cruise on Huong River to admire the sunset and overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue - Danang – Hoi An (B/L)
Taking a van to Hoi An town, which is about 140km from Hue. You will travel through Hai Van pass, and Lang Co beach – It is one of the most beautiful beach of Vietnam. Passing Da Nang, the car will stop for the visit to Cham museum. Cham museum is the open air collection of Cham sculpture. Many of the sandstone carving are breathtaking and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
In the morning, you will walk to visit ancient tiny town Hoi An. The visit includes Japanese covered bridge, some Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical Vietnamese houses of 18 century. It is time for you to go shopping or relax on the bank of Thu Bon river of Hoi An before late afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)
Full day city tour, the tour starts by visit Reunification Palace, then War Musuem, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Port Office. After lunch, we continue to visit Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Pagoda in Chinatown that is should not be missed as well as visit the Phuong Nam Lacquer ware who show you from the first step of making lacquer to the end of its process and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 8: Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
Drive a long way on the country side of Vietnam to Tay Ninh, 90 km from Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival to the head quarter of Cao Dai religion, you will have a chance to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy Temple, and meet followers come to attend the ceremony wearing colored long dresses, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Having lunch at a local restaurant then continue to Cu Chi Tunnel, visit the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Local Vietnamese Guerillas during the long struggle for independence and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 9: Saigon – Cai Be – Sadec (L/D)
7:45 AM Depart from your hotel to Cai Be (95 Km).
Around 10:00 AM Arrive in Cai Be, you’ll take a boat for crossing the Mekong River to Tan Phong islet where you can have a perfect opportunity to self-explore as follows:
Cruising around the floating market to explore its daily life and its traditional trading on the water
Having tea with honey and fruit
Listen to the local traditional music
Visit the Durian garden then go on for cruising along its beautiful green canal’s bands and its functions of busy water transportation.
At 13:30, we arrive at the intersection of the three rivers; the local restaurant is located right on the river band. Just enjoy your typical Mekong River’s scenery and the local cuisine.
After lunch, we cross the Mekong River again then take a van to Sa Dec for check in hotel or Home-stay. The night programmed activities will be as follows:
At 16:30, we take a boat or a van travel to the countryside for a short trekking and you are welcomed to barbecue party of a Farmer’s family.
At 21:30, we get back to the hotel in Sa Dec by boat or van (it depends on the high or low of local marine tide).
Day 10: Sadec – Fish Farm Village - Binh Thanh Islet – Hcm (B/L)
At 8:00 AM, we check out and have breakfast at hotel. Embarking on a boat (it is caring bicycles) to the destination as follows:
The typical manual brick workshop on the right band of Mekong River
The floating fish farm village for your explore how the local people making their living on fish farm on the water.
Exploring the water plants from the both side of the canal and having picnic lunch on the boat.
Easy riding bicycles along the small dust roads and rivers in the countryside to make you deep down in this beautiful landscape. Finally, taking the van to going back to HCM City
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City – at Leisure – Shopping – Departure
You are free for shopping or other optional visit before transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure.
